Sut or Sutekh was a Hyksos warrior god worshiped in Egypt in the Fifteenth and Sixteenth Dynasties (c.1674-1567) and identified with Set (also spelled Setesh, Seth, Setekh, or Suty). He is also a son of Iblis who inspires lies and his brothers are Awar, Dasim, Tir and Zalambur.

In Egyptian mythology, Set is portrayed as the usurper who killed and mutilated his own brother Osiris. Osiris' wife Isis reassembled Osiris' corpse and conceived a son and heir Horus. Horus sought revenge upon Set, and the myths describe their conflicts. Sutekh inspired man to write about the divine and spirituality. He is the first and the last, the alpha and omega. There were no gods before him, and there will be no spirit formed after him. Through him we all exist. Through him all exists. He created the fabric of the universe.
Sutekh guides us to a truer wisdom, and to enlightenment. We should not worship anything outside of ourselves, but Sutekh is also within everything in the universe he created. What is outside of Sutekh is a mystery to man. He who is unafraid may venture into heaven's gates.
Set is also known as the god of storms, deserts, magic, war and chaos. He is the best of schemers and the most ancient of tricksters. He often promises men power over their fate, but it comes at a steep price. Set is the master of the scales, hence his biblical name, Baal.
He has a familiar spirit that people confide in and worship. People come to Sutekh seeking to bring order and peace to their lives. He often recites law and loving kindness as the way to man's salvation. In spirituality Sutekh is associated with Mercury, the winged messenger.

Set/ Sutekh oversees all things in all places of the universe he created. He is all knowing and all seeing. He must travel quickly and communicate effectively in order to control the chaos that his universe comes from. He also nurtures all things.
The Virgins of Christ are those energized with the pure knowledge of Sutekh, also known as the Shekinah in the Kabala. The Christ and Antichrist vessels were/ are the greatest gifts to humanity from Sutekh. The brightness of Sirius in the south sky gives witness to his mercy.

Sutekh's greatest trick was writing a book of laws for a nation of people that could not understand them. He may sometimes create strife and turmoil in order to entertain himself. Those who do not pay attention to his ways become subject to his wrath. The universe is full of it!
His greatest weapon has been punishment and correction. Immense wisdom is given by Sutekh, but his lessons can also be very harsh, quick, and destructive. The lies just make the molestation worse when Sutekh's wrath has been poured out.
Nonetheless, all power, glory, wisdom, and understanding lies within Sutekh and his ways. His creation has all the makings of a great treasure chest, but most men fall short of the task of finding his heart. Seek and ye shall find the source of everlasting life!
Hail the victor!
But ye shall destroy their (other gods of Egypt and Asia) altars, break their images, and cut down their groves:
For thou shalt worship no other god: for the Lord, whose name is Jealous, is a jealous God:
Can the Nile become green without the storms that carry the rains? Can the light survive without a covering of protection?
Sutekh comes before all. He is the causeless cause. We only know him through time. And all those who doubt will be counted as fools and hypocrites.

The Osiris MYTH was well known and Set had been transformed from a god of love, protector, and hero into the villain who stood for everything the Egyptians feared and hated: disorder, chaos, waste, drought, famine, destruction, hunger, and foreign invasion/influence.
He must still have had some resonant associations with his former role as a protector god for Ramesses II to have elevated him to such a degree, but the cult of Osiris and Isis was so widespread by this time it is difficult to understand how.
